| i woke up this morning to a phone call. it was my mom telling me that she was just in a really bad car wreck. she was on east cherokee drive turning left onto hwy 20. her light was green and she was good to go. then all of a sudden an idiot going east on hwy 20 ran the red light he had and plowed right into the drivers side door of my moms mustang. he was in a van so he t-boned her really hard. her car spun out of the way and the fucking jerk drove off. he drove off. who the hell does that. he could have killed her. and he just fucking drove off. i cant believe that. thank GOD she is ok. thank GOD for her airbags and her seatbelt. thank GOD the wreck happened next to a church where people came and helped her. her car is totalled. they couldnt open her door to get her out. her wrist is hurt.
it makes me absolutely sick to think that people are that insensitve.
and i makes me absolutely sick to think that i could have lost my mom this morning.
please, everyone, take some caution when you're driving. nothing is that important for you to drive wrecklessly. i've lost too many friends within the past 2 years....i cant imagine what it would have been like if i lost my mom today. |

| oh my god. 10 days left to the quarter, then its SPRING BREAK! i seriously can't wait, but then again..i can. i have so much work to do in the next 10 days.....my final portfolio for photo is due the 13th, im doing the photo shoot for it this weekend. my research paper is due the 8th...ahhh! i should probably start that. and my color theory painting is due on the last class, the 14th.
but after that i get to come home! and sleep! and relax!!!!!

| well, back in good ole' savannah. i haven't really had the time to get settled in again...i got in late tuesday night, had 2 classes this morning, and i've been hanging out with beth and taylor. i had my firt major class this morning, intro to photo. it was alright i guess, my professor couldnt make it so we had a student teacher come in. since he let us out early, lizzi and i went down to the trustees theater to pick up some tickets for VH1's Best Week Ever. They're doing a live presentation with comedians Paul Scheer, Christian Finnegan, Paul F.
Tompkins and Aziz Ansari. i can't wait, that show is awesome!
my 2nd class was english. it wasnt too bad. my teacher seems pretty awesome. she's a "child of the 80's"...or so she calls herself. tomorrow morning i have color theory at noon. eh. not looking forward to it. i've already spent $100 in supplies for that class not counting the $70 book. i havent bought any of my photographic supplies but my book. as for english, just one thing...my book, and i get that free!!! which will save me 50 desperately-needed-bucks.
time to catch up on some sleep. i've been so tired lately! |

| wooo! i just checked my grades for fall quarter and i did awesome!!!! "A" in 2-D design, "A" in Survey of Western Art I, and "B" in drawing I. I am definitely proud of that B in drawing...that class was insanely hard because i had a bi-polar teacher who loved to give out tons of projects. YAY! my gpa is 3.66...sweet!
i sent an e-mail to russ abbott the other night about getting a tattoo from him and he called me back today. he's really excited about my idea and we scheduled appointments for my consultation, dec. 13 12:30, and the date of my tattoo, dec. 24 at 12. im really excited about getting it!
i started working with scott at the bookstore. its going pretty well, i like it. just getting the hang of things.
